WRITING

My favorite type of writing is when I get to talk to others about their experiences. It is so important that peoples' voices are heard. Writing on different perspectives has been a factor in developing my compassion for people from all backgrounds and have understood that both our similarities and differences are what bind us together. DANCE

Whenever I get a chance to dance, I take it. I am trained in two forms of dance: Kuchipudi and Bhangra. Kuchipudi is an Indian classical art from Andhra Pradesh with rythmic steps, vivid facial expressions, and fast melodies which are used to create stories. Bhangra is an Indian folk dance from Punjab which was created by farmers during the harvest season. Through dance, I stayed in touch with my culture, and learned discipline and dedication which I have applied to other aspects of my life. View my dance videos to learn more.

EXPERIENCES

Whether it's school, moving out, working, traveling, skydiving, learning about a new culture, reading, or watching a movie, I embrace and enjoy each experience. I have learned and have grown from all of them. Visit my Instagram for a few of my fondest memories. I look forward to making many more.
